Are you planning for #AVTE2026 yet? In 2025 the annual AVTE Conference saw 400 attendees representing 150 vet tech programs across 40+ states and Canada. Our 2025 attendees had the opportunity to learn from 30 presentations / sessions and 40+ exhibitors over 4 days of community.

Are you ready to make your travel plans? You can book your guest room today. Conference rate of $195 is available until July 7, 2026, or until the conference block is full. The rates apply to Wednesday, July 29, 2026 through Sunday, August 2, 2026.

The guest room rate is subject to applicable tax (currently 13% per room, per night), and the Tourism Improvement District fee (3%). Subject to change.

The AVTE Annual Conference brings together internationally known thought leaders and front-line innovators to educate the next generation of Veterinary Technician Leaders. Each year, the AVTE Conference Committee will accept proposals for sessions that:

  • Support the association’s mission of promoting quality education in veterinary technology;
  • Introduce new, unique, and successful methods of teaching today’s college students;
  • Incorporate interactive learning methods (not completely lecture-based); and
  • Would be taught by professionals known for their exceptional teaching styles
